I’m working on the Read-Out-Loud review of the book. MS Word has a voice feature that can read a book. It’s not good enough for an Audiable book, but it’s great for my wife and I to listen to and catch stuff that sounds “off.” We’ve zeroed in on all kinds of odd sentences and fixed them to sound better. Unfortunately, this takes a lot more than one weekend to complete, so the work continues. We’re currently on Chapter 13 of 32 Chapters (as of this blog post). We might (maybe?) get the rest of the book completed by the end of the weekend, but most likely we’ll complete it sometime next week. The worst-case scenario (assuming the book takes a lot longer ot fix problems), we’ll need another weekend to complete it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we can get this wrapped up by this weekend, and I can publish early next week (like Monday). I’ll post another update after the weekend if we’re not done and inform everyone of our progress.
