The Missing Link – Published

The Missing Link

The Kindle (and KU) version of The Missing Link, book 9 of The Chronicles of Daphne Blazefire has been published.

I’ll get the paperback formatted by the end of the week.

Novis Terminal Audiobook Status

I have signed a contract with a voice actress on ACX. She will begin the project tomorrow (March 2nd), and I expect it to take 4 to 6 weeks to complete. I’ll keep everyone posted on when the Audiobook will be available. This is my first professional Audiobook project, so it’s a new learning experience. Fortunately, after completing this project, the next one will run much more smoothly.

To End the Silence

This will be the first time in a long time that I’ve written two Daphne books back-to-back. The Missing Link transitions smoothly into the next book. To End the Silence is book 10 of the series, and I’m sure there are those who are wondering if the number ten is significant. Like, the end of a series. I can safely say that I’m not done writing Daphne books. I have another 10 potential stories that are waiting on my hard drive. These could end up as a second series, or some of them may be added to the ten already written to turn it into a 12-book or a 15-book series.

After book 10, I’ll be shifting gears because I have to analyze the sales on Audiobooks, and if they look good (which I expect them to), then I’ll plan out the remaining Audiobooks for the series. I also have another series that is currently on the back burner. That’s the Robot Whisperers chronicles. Right now, there are two books in that series with plans to write a third. I may switch to that series for a bit, later in the year (haven’t made up my mind yet).

Also, May could prove to be a low-writing month. My company has a major project going on, and they’ve already warned us that we will be working a couple of weekends (for a software switch-over). To End The Silence should be done and published by then, but that also means that I might not make solid writing plans for May and June. Then again, I might have time that I don’t expect and end up producing something sooner than expected. We’ll see what happens.
