The Next Book…

The next SciFi book will be book 7 of the Daphne Blazefire series called Shadows in the Bloodline. I am currently in the middle of a 5-book cozy series (I’m wrapping up the rough draft for book 2), once that series is complete, then I’ll start writing the next Daphne book. I ordered the cover for Shadows, so I’ll be able to post a progress icon on this site like I normally do. Then, my visitors can check in every once in a while to see my progress on the book.

So far, I’ve been able to keep a good cadence of book writing. I think the longest I’ve gone without putting down words or editing a book was around two weeks. That was during a vacation in Cancun. Otherwise, I normally publish one book and then immediately start the next. For the cozy mysteries that I’m writing right now, I should be able to complete a book a month. The fifth book should be published in May (keeping my fingers crossed). Then I’ll start working on the next Daphne book, which should take around two months, max. You’ll be able to see the progress on the book meter once I get a cover to create the icon from.
