First of all, I have decided to change the title of The Demons. The book will be released under the title The Archons. Yeah, it’s a bummer that I didn’t analyze the title more when I first put it together and make the change then, but, better late than after release. Using the word demons in a title makes the book seem as though it’s a horror or “demonic” book. Not the right genre. Don’t get me wrong, the aliens in this book are horrifying, but the book itself is not something that would be compared with a story like “Alien.” The Archons fit better with the genre and the Tome refers to the Demons as a possible mistranslation from Archon or overload. That’s covered in the first book (whether they’re called Demons, Archons, etc.). Anyway, I’ll make an announcement here and provide a link to Amazon to the book page.

The read-out-loud editing is done and I have a bunch of fixes I need to make. However, the fixes are minor and I anticipate that it’ll only take me a couple of days. I set the publish date for Friday the 21st. I don’t see any reason for missing that date, so I’m making it a hard date. If you’re anxious, check Thursday night, because I’ll publish it then to make sure it’s available on Friday.

It’s going to take considerable effort to scour everything that is titled “The Demons” and change them to “The Archons” but I’ve had to do uglier title changes (like Novis Terminal).

It’s hard to believe that this project is finally done… well, the first book is done. It currently sits at 135k words. So, it’s a good read with a lot of characters, conflict, and action. The sub-plots are numerous and only a few threads are tied up in this book.
