Escape from the Abyss Series

I’m a quarter of the way finished with the read-out-loud task. I expect to get it completed by the end of this weekend. So far, it’s going really well. I usually have a ton of major changes to make by this point, but this time it has only been a few grammatical stuff as well as a couple of changes to make things more clear to the reader.

While that is going on, there’s some dead time that I’m filling with the rough draft of book 3 (I put up a % complete/progress image for book 3). Not sure what it’s going to be called yet. I also don’t have cover art for it yet. After I publish book 2, I’ll put some time into that task. The story for book 3 is pretty well set. I have it started and I know where I want it to end. I also have most of the scene ideas scribbled down (notes in Scrivener). Now it’s a matter of getting into character and writing the scenes.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Secrets of the Tome will be ready for release on Friday, the 14. It all depends on how the rest of the read-out-loud goes. If something is off, or weak, I may have to rework some scenes. I’ll know one way or the other by Monday.
