I moved several sets of my books to KU. I’m testing to see how well this works. The Abyss series books, The Traveler Trilogy (Desperate Action, Survival, Dead End), and the Daphne books are all on KU. So, if you have a KU account, enjoy. Eventually, I’ll get the MacKenzie Steele series back on KU. I have to wait for them to become de-listed from Draft2Digital first.
Hopeless (Book 6 of the Escape from the Abyss series)
I was almost to Act II of this book when I decided to change it around. However, the pause in my word count was due to a vacation that was planned and not this change (my word progress projection included zeros for the past five days). I’ll end up being behind by a bit, but not by a week. I still expect to publish by mid-July. Sometimes, stories sound great initially, then take a turn for the boring as I’m writing them. I’m no stranger to throwing away a chapter or four and rewriting to make the story better. I’m getting better at recognizing when the story veers off the road and needs to be changed. Sometimes, it’s just a minor change, but in this case, I’m re-plotting the middle of the story, and, oh boy, it’s so much better.
