Escape from the Abyss
The Archons
Captain Alastor is a war hero who commands one of the oldest carriers in the fleet. It is the last of the big ships made for a war fought decades ago. Now, the colonies of planets he represents are fighting a war with an enemy that fights using unconventional techniques. They are a terrorist organization known as The Mist.
Senator Price has an ax to grind with Captain Alastor, and he will stop at nothing to have the captain removed from active duty. When Captain Alastor discovers that the war with the Mist is nothing but a scam run by politicians, he discovers a real target to bomb, giving Senator Price all the leverage he needs to finally get his nemesis removed from the military.
Sylvia Wright was the leading religious leader of the colonies. She believes in the Tome of Revelations, but she is of an order that has seen its followers decreasing for years. The Tome itself tells of ancient worlds that their colonists escaped from, but very few believe the Tome. Nobody has encountered alien races as described in the Tome and nobody has discovered the location of the ancient colonies.
Captain Alastor is recalled to the Capitol world to be forcibly retired. His ship and crew must travel through the interplanetary gate system to get there. When the gate system fails, they emerge with a collection of civilian ships in an unknown region of space. Before the lost ships can organize and find their location, they come under attack from an advanced alien race. Sylvia Wright is convinced these are the demons foretold in the Tome. Captain Alastor is not convinced until they discover an uncharted inhabited planet.
Secrets of the Tome
Sylvia Wright is one of the most important people in the fleet. She is the key to deciphering the Tome so they can find their way home.
Sergeant Henderson must meet with Sylvia Wright and convince her to move to the Dark Wolf where she can be protected. When she comes up missing, sarge and his team must scour the Far Star and find her. Who would want to abduct her? The real question is who wouldn’t want to abduct her? If the Archons infect her, they would be able to read her mind and possibly find the colonies before the fleet.
Captain Alastor has a lot on his plate. An unknown number of people have been infected and are wandering around his ship. He must help decipher the Tome to find the colonies before the Archons. To make matters worse, he must ensure that the fleet stays at least one step ahead of the pursuing Archon mother ships. One mistake and all will be lost.
The Demon in Me
Cassandra Davenport is a prisoner in her own body. An alien entity from a race known as the Archons lives behind her brain, controlling her body as though it were its home. She had a promising career and an entire lifetime in front of her. She attempted repeatedly to reestablish control over her physical form, even if for a brief interval, to notify others of her alien subjugation. Thus far, her attempts have been unsuccessful, notwithstanding that she was able to move her arm once. Now she has a new goal: to regain control of her body.
The longing to return home weighs heavily on Lieutenant Deanne Polski, though the location eludes everyone. She firmly believes that the secrets lie within the Tome of Revelations. The ancients discovered the new colonies over 3,000 years ago and documented their journey. She has vowed to spend every waking moment trying to wring out any scrap of information from the stories in the Tome to get the fleet home.
Captain Gavin Alastor has led the fleet away from the ancient world Banchin after a clash with the Archons. He wants to chart a course for the colonies, but he must first defend the fleet of unarmed civilian ships from constant attack. To make matters worse, there are Archons spreading and taking over people on his ship as well as other civilian ships. The purpose of their mission remains obscure, but he suspects at some point, they will sabotage his fleet, steal critical information, and report back to allow their race to arrive at the colonies before they do. He must stop the Archons or arrive at the colonies early enough to rally forces to defend against them.
The Encounter
Captain Alastor has reached a dilemma. Justina is missing after being sent on a spy mission to gather intelligence regarding a planet that is suspected to be home to the Temple of Advent. He must decide on sending a probe, sending another spy, or maybe just moving on to the next planet. He has never left a man or woman behind, and it’s tearing him up. This time, he may not have the resources to recover Justina.
After studying the photos taken of the Temple of the Exodus, Sylvia Wright discovers the temples may hold secrets not spelled out in the Tome. If the fleet cannot examine the Temple of Advent, they may not be able to find the next temple and make it home. Can she convince Captain Alastor to embark on a mission to a planet that is sure to be guarded by the bulk of the enemy fleet?
Maura discovers her boyfriend was tested and is infected by an Archon. Now she has regrets she blamed Justina for attempting to steal him away from her. Unfortunately, Justina is missing in action and may never return. Maura realizes that she may have to live with her guilt for the rest of her life.
Nathanael
In a vast fleet, a child foretold by the Tome of Revelations is identified, sparking jubilation among the people. However, Sylvia Wright, a skeptic amidst the celebration, questions the authenticity of the child’s identity. As more children claiming to be Nathanael emerge, confusion spreads, making it increasingly difficult to discern the true chosen one from the impostors. With the fate of the fleet hanging in the balance, Sylvia must navigate through the sea of deception to uncover the genuine Nathanael before it’s too late.
Captain Alastor and his crew stumble upon what they believe to be the long-lost Temple of the King of Alcetas. Yet, unsettling discrepancies cast doubt on its authenticity. As they delve deeper, they realize they might have stumbled upon one of the fake temples prophesied by the Tome. With uncertainty shrouding their discovery, Captain Alastor must decide whether to proceed or retreat before they fall victim to the traps laid by ancient deceptions.
Sylvia Wright, burdened by the weight of her authority, encounters a single mother and her ailing child. Despite her position, Sylvia grapples with her inability to wield power to save the child’s life. As she confronts the limitations of her influence, Sylvia faces a moral quandary that challenges her beliefs and underscores the harsh realities of her world.
With the Archons laying a cunning trap, the fleet finds itself on the brink of disaster. As chaos threatens to engulf them, the key to survival lies in finding Nathanael and deciphering his cryptic message. Racing against time, the fate of the fleet hangs in the balance as they strive to evade the clutches of their adversaries and unravel the enigmatic prophecy before it’s too late.
Hopeless
Commander Evans has a problem. He must find or grow enough food to cover shortages for everyone in the fleet, military and civilians. Failure means starvation for all. When the Archons show up, the issue of starvation must take a back seat as Commander Evans fights for his life and those around him.
Sylvia Wright and her collection of volunteers are stymied by the code she recorded from the Temple of King Hawise. There is only one more Temple to find and use as a marker to complete their trip to the colonies. They are so close, yet so far. The burden of the entire fleet rests on her shoulders. Failure means that the fleet will be lost in space forever.
Final Match
Captain Alastor is worried about the final push to the colonies. With the destination to the colonies finally discovered, he is tempted to follow a direct route and arrive as rapidly as possible. Behind him lies the Archon battle fleet. A fleet of unknown proportions. They wait for the Dark Wolf to lead them to the colonies. Captain Alastor is worried about the consequences. He must find a way to trick the Archons into an ambush or lead them away from the colonies. Failure could allow the Archons to ambush and destroy the last hold-out of the human race.

The Traveler Trilogy
Desperate Action
Commander John Winters has been fighting the war since the aliens first arrived 22 years ago. Earth has been ravaged, and the alien vessels continue to come through a portal near the asteroid belt. For years, the Steel Castle class destroyers have kept them at bay, but now resources are dwindling.
Young men able to fight are in short supply. High-tech computer chips are becoming rare. The navy is down to a handful of ships and only two that are able to destroy the alien spheres at their point of entry, and it requires both destroyers to perform such a feat. When the Ruby Demon is destroyed while meeting the enemy at the portal, there is only one ship left: the Falling Star. Commander Winters is recalled and given orders that only a crew with a death wish would perform. To make matters worse, he must carry out his orders without his crew knowing them ahead of time. It’s a desperate ploy. If they fail, there will be no ships able to stop the alien spheres from attacking Earth at will. If they are successful, then they have a chance that they can cut off the portal-generating alien station and stop the spheres from coming.
Survival
Stranded on a hostile alien planet after the destruction of the alien station, Commander Winters and the crew of the Falling Star are thrust into a perilous unknown. As they explore the desolate landscape, they discover that the alien city is already inhabited.
Meanwhile, tensions escalate on Earth as the president and a select few senators conspire to abandon society, seeking refuge in a hidden bunker beyond the outer reaches of the solar system. However, their plans teeter on the brink of exposure as the military brass inches closer to uncovering their clandestine agenda.
Amidst the chaos, a shadowy threat looms large: the Brotherhood of Extinction, harboring a nefarious scheme to eradicate humanity through sleeper agents embedded within the government and amongst the crew of the Falling Star. With danger lurking at every turn and alliances tested to their limits, Winters and his crew must navigate a treacherous landscape of deception and betrayal to unravel the mysteries of the alien city, thwart the Brotherhood’s destructive plans, and ultimately find a way home.
Dead End
Amidst the chaos of battling an escaped terrorist, Yamaguchi, who wields deadly alien technology found within the mysterious city, Commander Winters and the crew of the Falling Star find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival. As they contend with Yamaguchi’s relentless assaults, a new threat emerges in the form of an alien space station, resuming its relentless attacks on Earth and the stranded crew. With the crew of the Falling Star divided into disparate groups, each fighting to defend themselves against the dual onslaught of Yamaguchi’s ruthless tactics and the renewed aggression of the alien space station, tensions mount, and alliances are tested like never before. In the face of overwhelming odds, Winters and his crew must band together, navigate treacherous betrayals, and harness every ounce of their courage and ingenuity to overcome both the external threats and the internal divisions tearing them apart before it’s too late.

Daphne’s troubles start when the cargo is delivered to her ship and she is handed a list of waypoints with instructions to avoid the authorities. Pax runs a business selling parts and upgrades for cargo ships. He’s made a living for his family by selling the most popular products at the best price. It’s all he knows how to do. When his CEO demands that salespeople must sell at least one of their company’s most advanced and expensive nav computers per month or face termination, Pax knows he is doomed. That is until his installation expert suggests a not-so-ethical solution to his dilemma.
When Daphne and Pax meet, the situation becomes impossible. Then, when things hit rock bottom, it becomes worse. Suddenly their lives are entangled when they must stop Major Gura, a terrorist who possesses a device capable of destroying an entire planet, from carrying out his evil plans. The only missing piece to Major Gura’s plans is an advanced nav computer to guide his warhead!
Stolen Property
A distress signal compels Daphne to change course and rescue a ship that has crashed on an icy world. After she sets down and investigates an abandoned shell of a vessel, her spacecraft is stolen and she and RUSTY are left alone on an uninhabited frozen planet with an abandoned hulk of a ship.
Daphne wonders why someone would go through so much trouble to lure her to this planet only to steal her ship. She takes inventory of what she has on hand and discovers that she must make a terrible choice between RUSTY, her electric suit to keep her warm, or the beacon to call for help. Finding her ship will have to wait. If she can survive long enough to be rescued, then she can start the long task of investigating who stole her ship and why.
Supercomputer
Daphne cashes in on a big payday. Unfortunately, RUSTY becomes seriously damaged when they fight a deadly alien species that attacks their cargo ship. Now she must spend her hard-earned money on an upgrade for RUSTY’s CPU or go it alone without him. Not long after RUSTY is upgraded, Daphne discovers that a smart robot is not all that it’s cracked up to be.
RUSTY is uncertain about what to put in his new memories. He soon discovers there are vast databases of human knowledge he can exploit. Overwhelmed by all of the unsolved mysteries of the human race, he decides to prioritize and solve all of these mysteries, starting with the most pressing and dangerous of them all. With his advanced level of intellect, he is able to take control of the ship and pursue his plans without the worry about Daphne stopping him.
The most advanced alien race, known as the Islax, lives on a hidden world. Some say that they keep their society hidden by killing anyone who discovers them. There are legends of this race in human records. At least twelve people are assumed to have stumbled onto the advanced race and gone missing. Now that RUSTY has scanned millions of research documents about these aliens, he thinks he has solved the puzzle.
When they arrive at the Islax world, RUSTY wants answers. He soon discovers that the Islax are not isolationists but are biding their time for a day when they will have perfected their weapon to destroy all other advanced life forms and take over the galaxy. Now it’s up to RUSTY and Daphne to stop them or die trying.
