I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas. I have been busy on a large twenty-book series that I’m plotting out before I begin to write. I want the story to be tightly connected between the books. In order to pull this off, I’m planning out the main story and all of the major sub-plots before I write the first book. This should eliminate the problem where stories seem to meander from one book to another.

Now you’re probably thinking that the series is named “A New World.” Nope. “A New World” is another subject. I have a huge list of stories I would like to write. Some I plan to make into novels, some are only worthy of short stories. I grabbed this story off of my list and created a short story that you can download for free! Just a little something to tide you over until the first novel of the new series is produced. I’m still in the thick of planning the new series and have no deadline set for when I’ll start writing the rough draft of the first book. So there might be another short story or novella between my planning and the first book. Once I begin writing the first book, I’ll produce a novel for the series at regular intervals.
