The Space Junk Collector
I published the eBook version of this short story. I’ll fix up a paperback version shortly. Now that this story is out the door, I’m down to four stories in progress. The next to go out the door will be Desperate Action. I’ll also add this story’s cover to the book page on this blog. That page will need some TLC pretty soon. I need to set up a diagram that shows which short stories go into the combined volumes for the MacKenzie Steele series. I only show the combined books in-line with the three novels.
Desperate Action
Yay. I found a royalty-free font that looks good for the title of the first book:
I’ll use that font for all of the books in the series so they match. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have some backstories that developed from this novel. I currently plan to write them as short stories, but they have the potential to become something larger. For those, I’m going to let the story be whatever length it wants to be.
If you’re interested in this series, the free short story that the series is based on is available by signing up for my email list. Just go to the blog (If you’re reading this from Facebook), and put our email address in the box on the side and click the “Sign Up” button (click here for the blog: www.galacticcorebooks.com). The Traveler is a short story that I wrote wayyyy back in 2020. Which feels like it was decades ago.
The Traveler is about 3,500 words long, so it’s a quick read and sets the stage for the backstory of the series that will follow.
Now on to generating a paperback for The Space Junk Collector. Then back to editing Desperate Action.
