99 Cent Sale!

I’m setting the price of The Nav Computer at 99 cents from now until Friday (1/6/2023). Update: I’m extending this until 1/13/2023). This is a limited-time offer, so don’t miss it!

Don’t worry if you didn’t read any of the other books. This is a Chronicle, so the ordering doesn’t really matter.

This sale serves two purposes: I am using it to learn how to do Facebook Ads. On my first attempt, I created a post and boosted it. Then the clicks came in. Everyone was clicking the “like” button and moving on. I scratched my head and dug around to figure out what I did wrong. Lo-and-behold, I didn’t realize that there was an advanced control panel that allowed me to set up a more sophisticated advertisement. Most of the instructions out there are dated (not that it’s their fault. Facebook makes changes all the time). I stumbled on the Kindleprenuer Facebook Ad setup and translated their screens into the new ones. Then I started seeing clicks that translated into sales.

The second reason I’m doing this sale is to see if there is a fan base for Daphne. I was getting worried because Amazon Ads are useless. I never encounter this problem before. My MacKenzie Steele series sold like crazy without any sophisticated Ad setup on Amazon. Sooooo, I just assumed that I had it down. Oh, I’ve spent the past couple of years experimenting with the Amazon Ads features to see what works. I have it down pretty well.

Anywhoo… the Daphne books are getting clicks and sales and it’s leading to some sales of other books in her series, so somebody likes the books (thank you, whoever you are). This means Facebook Ads are the way to go for Daphne. Once this sale is over, I’ll set up a long-term Facebook Ad set for the Daphne series and let it ride. If it continues to do well, I’ll finish the sixth book (which I have about 70% outlined). The sixth book will be titled “Family.” Ooh, did I just throw down a hint?

About The Nav Computer:

Daphne finally has the money to upgrade her ship. When she turns down a shady salesman who tries to upsell her on a fancy nav computer, she gets more than she bargained for.

Daphne and the salesman, Pax, become involved in a plot by a colony of terrorists who have built a bomb that can destroy a planet. Can Daphne and Pax set their differences aside and save a planet?
